1.7 File folders

By default ARC396 V2.0 files are stored under the ‘My documents’ folder.

System data files are stored under ‘My scanner file’.

Audio recordings are stored under ‘My scanner recordings’ (PRO version only).

To change this start the software and select SETUP _Software Options. Select

the “general” tab and unselected the ‘Windows Vista style’ option.

When you use Windows Vista this option must be selected.

Windows Vista: Windows Vista limits software to access folders on your

harddisk. We advise to use the default folders under the ‘My documents’

folder. If you want the software to have full access to all folders the software

must have ‘administrative’ rights.
